		<description>&#039;Proper English&#039; is some kind of ideological form that seems to have cemented itself in the mind of foreign speakers. To them this dream of &#039;Proper English&#039; is an uttainable but necessary goal in learning the language. I am still unsure as to what this idea is and would very much like it be explained to me.</description>

		<description>Good call about not everyone speaking the Queen&#039;s English. I teach English in the Netherlands and I can&#039;t tell you the number of times students have specifically asked me to teach them &#039;proper English&#039; - still waiting for a definition on that one....!</description>
